Privacy Policy

The short version

Kung Fu Math is a math practice app. You can use it without an account — in that case, your progress is stored only on your device. If you sign in, we sync your progress so you can use the app on multiple devices. We do not sell your data or run advertising.

What we store on your device

Your belt rank, scores, streaks, and session history are saved in your device’s local storage so you can pick up where you left off. This data stays on your device unless you sign in.

Accounts and sign-in

If you choose to create an account, you can sign in with:

• Email and password

We store your user ID, email address, and the progress data you generate in the app (belt rank, technique mastery, streaks, session history, and premium entitlement). We do not read your contacts, photos, or any other data from your device.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Apple shares a receipt with our purchase processor (RevenueCat), which tells our server whether your account is entitled to premium features. We store only the entitlement status — not your payment method.

Service providers

We use the following processors to run the app:

• Supabase — account authentication and database hosting for your progress.
• RevenueCat — validates App Store receipts and manages premium entitlements.
• Apple — App Store distribution and in-app purchases.

Traffic between the app and these services is encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS/TLS provided by the operating system.

What we don’t do

• No advertising networks or ad tracking.
• No analytics that identifies individual users.
• No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties for marketing.

Children

Kung Fu Math is suitable for all ages. If a child under the age of consent in their country wishes to create an account, a parent or guardian should do so on their behalf. The app itself contains no third-party advertising or external links intended for children.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the app. This permanently removes your account, progress, mastery, streaks, and entitlement records from our server.

To clear only the on-device history, use “Clear history” on the Progress screen.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA) you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can exercise deletion directly in the app. For any other request, contact us at the address below.
